white smoke w/meth?

Bought 5 gallons of meth from a stock car buddy. He put some oil in it.
Tried some out today and got white smoke and knock.
The obvious is to get rid of it, but wondered if the smoke is normal because of the oil and maybe the knock is a tuning issue rather than the meth?

When i first loaded meth onto my Eclipse I flooded the motor and upon startup I had the white smoke issue. I do not use any sort of oil in my combination. Is it possible you are spraying to much into the air stream?

Guess it depends on how much oil.

Drain and refill with straight alcohol.. see how it does.

Wondering where the knock is coming from.
Could that be bad meth, or maybe too much oil?
I was doing some tuning and had raised the FP to 44.
Kinda hate to dump 5 gallons of meth. Think I could dilute it with alky?

Paul, see if the knock "IS" coming from whats inside the tank. If the liquid your spraying is creating the knock.. I would throw 300 gallons away and not fool with it.

But... before you throw anything away.. put some new alcohol and try.

Methanol=alcohol
Denatured=alcohol

Oil=bad in large quantities.
