Who can help me ID a turbo?

I was told it was a T60. If I send someone pics, can you ID it? Someone told me it was a PT60 and I just want to make sure what kind it is before selling it. Going bigger of course.

Pics will not help. Need numbers. Like the exducer and inducer diameter of wheels. We need to start a movement for vendors to ID turbos wih some sort of external markings. This is a little riduclous I think.

It really sucks to have to take apart a turbo to find out what size it is!!!

I just told you. You need to take off the housings and measure the width of the wheels in mm. Go to PTE web site to see some specs of turbos.

You can get a good idea by just taking off the compressor housing, and just measuring the compressor wheel. You can do this with the turbo on the car. Can you find PTE web site? Percision Turbo and Engine. Find it on the home page of this web site. It should take you only 20min. or so to get at the wheel.

It looks like the wheels are flush with the housings. Can I measure them like so? Or do I still have to take it apart?

take it apart! you can't see the outer edge of the wheel! It's only six boltz. Gheezh!
