hey guys.. just wondering who else has a pro pain kit on a hotair..

tried the "normal" 81 jet, all i got is surging

tried a custom made "60" jet, surging still..

car pulls really hard in 3rd gear, no knock on the gauge, but, it surges really really badly...

anyone with a remotely stock hotair have a suggestion for jets to use? i cant play with it until tomorrow cause the tank is low (i bought it used)..

I don't have the same car, but what do you mean by "surging"?

If it is causing the ignition to miss your pressure is too high. Turn the pressure down a little.

yea im putting in smaller and smaller jets.. i talked with jay c today and he said to move the nozzle, so i think im gonna do that tomorrow too..

Looking at where Nick had the nozzle, I think he was having issues with the MAF sensor getting some propane spillover. Hopefully relocating the nozzle farther upstream will solve his problem.

You know. I was thinking about this earlier. Tainting the MAF that is.

You really can't take advantage of the MAF relocation mod with propane or alky/H20 injection... at least not by locating it directly in front of the TB anyway.

Jay, I am sending that chip to you soon... school is eating up too much of my time.

Actually the MAF relocation might work. The LT1 MAF has temperature compensation I think.
