I’m relocating my two gauges under the steering wheel but the material just does not seem strong enough to support. Was there something that you used to strengthen it somehow like another bracket or something to mount it to. I am going to use an Autometer 2 gauge bracket. It is easier in my opinion than mounting them in the console are directly under the radio in that pod. I think the lines and connectors would be straighter and not all bunched up under there.

Seems like they’d be hard to read & pay attention to if they’re under the column.

Not to mention you’d have to put your head down to read them. Not too mention them becoming “knee knocker” gauges.

I can glance at my console gauges quickly & safely.

What about above the steering column?

I thought of that but I’m not sure I like how they sit up there and is everything exposed from the back

Doesn’t block views of Speedo and pods are completely enclosed. Just a

short distance from the back to space under the dash bezel. What I like most is that knock and boost are in my field of view at all times with just a slight drop of my eyes from the road.

I have two gauges in the console under the radio. They weren't difficult at all to install there, and they're located in a spot where you can quickly glance at them.

I wouldn't want any important gauges mounted somewhere that I'd have to go out of my way to look at them.

That’s where mine are going to go back. It was just a pain in the ass to shove the wires back there but I’ll just have to take my time—I was just looking for something easier that’s all

These pods are nice. He has a few designs available. Not sure if he frequents the forum any longer.
