Considering a hood mounted fuel pressure gage? I was wondering did you have to drill through the hood or mount some kind of bracket under the hood? Some one got a pic? thanks ahead of time!
Michael
I have one and mounted it using alum bar stock. I used self tapping screws and it looks pretty good. I took some pictures and posted them a while back.
I went with the Autometer gauge and used the Kenne bell fuel line. It was the cleanest way to route the line. No holes drilled through the hood other that the four self tappers underneath.
I have the AutoMeter FP gauge mounted to the hood. Cotton's sells a nice (I think stainless steel) bracket that screws in on the bottom side of the hood and curls up around the rear edge, no drilling required on the outer hood surface.
i've got kenne bell's hood mount and it looks trick...very easy to install and you don't have to make any huge holes in your hood...just drill underneath a bit and it doesn't even show...i've got a couple pics of mine on my website...
lots of people fear me just because of that gauge...but i am just a slow GN
