who has R&R the turn signal lever?

has anyone replaced the turn signal lever?
is it an easy task,what tools do you use to gett'er done??
im planning on doing it myself but never done anything with the steering column before.

Signal Lever replacement.

I wish it was that easy, I went thru the wheel with the help of a friend. I don't think you can snake the wire thru the column as it shows in those instructions. Just my .02 of experience.

I have installed several. You need to take a peice of thin stiff wire and run it in the hole at the wire connerctor for cruise control. Bend it tight and wrap it with a small amount od black tape so it doesn't hang up on you. Put the stiff wire down the colume and reach underneith the dash until you find it. Then snake the wire through the colume. Snap lever into dimmer switch. I hope this helps.

The Cruise wilre is pretty stiff or it was in the replacemnt I had. I gave up on trying to snake it through with wire/string and just gently pushed down the colum uning the wire itself. Was much easier.

so i assume you got it. if you saw it done once with a wire you would see how easy it really is.
