who is it , that sells mini-starters?

i've been trying to remember who? sells them but i just can't remember, my chrome mini- is sticking. i guess i need a new one. another question is that normal that they go bad when the car is not used alot? thanks in advance guys

I have just always used the starter from autozone it's not liteweight but it only costs $65 for rebuilt or $85 completely new and both have lifetime warranties. I've never had a starter problem since using them though.

I went with the gear reduction starter from Jegs/Summit for a SBC. Works better than the mini starter and have more room.

That is it. I got the plain finish. You will have to grind the corner off the edge to fit flush but it's not too bad.

If you want to support the Buick community, I have one of the TBS mini starters on the shelf that I used for a while that I'll sell cheap.

The mini starters are the same stock starter as the 93 or so corvette uses..go to autozone and buy one..I did and yes it bolts right on,I didnt even shim it..

NP,the only issue I had was stuffing my old starter in the box to return it for a core..lol...It was hanging out and over:smile: and was ALOT heavier,the guy actually allmost dropped it and said "man thats a heavy starter" I think any vehicle with the LT1 or even the LT4 will work,the LT4 I think is even smaller..
