Who is Roland Sanders, better known as "Molly

Roland Sanders, better known as "Molly" was a Buick design engineer who, after Buick came up with the idea to promote the Grand National series car racing wins by Buick Motorsports, wanted to put out a production car honoring Buicks wins. Molly was the concept designer for the Grand National car, which was originally red. My understanding is he came up with the scheme and logo design of the car. I'm also told that he now works for Lexus and is the designer of the Lexus logo that is on every Lexus automobile.

He's the *Mr Paint* of the 70's. Paint by Molly, held the same reverence as designed by Foose does nowadays. Graphics, ie the eye for design kinda guy.

Didn't Buick hire him just for the color schemes?.
