On my old grey car, I ran a PT74 GT-Q 3-bolt .85 A/R, and the heat shield fit just fine. I had to contour the side of the shield to clear the downpipe (as anyone would have to with a 3" TH style pipe) but that was it. My downpipe was from Eastern Performance and I used a Tial 38mm wg mounted onto the pipe. It cleared the shield no problem. Any of the non ball bearing turbos can run the heat shield as long as the turbo comes with the dog eared bracket that attaches to the turbo support bracket. (the one I like to call the question mark bracket)
It's the dual ball bearing turbos that will require some modifications to the shield to clear the water lines, and if you're running the factory replacement oil feed line, cutting of the shield on the top, just above the oil feed fitting is required as well. Depending on the orientation of your wastegate, you might have to notch the shield for clearance, but maybe not.
