I've been asked to provide a SFI documentation on my BMS hub. It came with the motor and no paperwork.

Anybody have any idea who made these or how I can get SFI paperwork on it?

(This is used in lieu of a balancer in the same spot.)

I too have one of those hubs. Unfortunately BMS did not pay the SFI organization to get their part certified. The fact that it is one piece and made of steel is what is needed for a safe part. It is not a balancer and thus should not be required to pass SFI tech in regards to balancers. I would guess the hubs came from the same shop that produced all the other BMS Stage/Race parts whether it is a GM owned shop or farmed out to someone else.

Shirley there are marketing geniuses at work here insisting that we pay for items that they have certified = $$$ for someone. I have a set of seat belts that look brand new but have to be re-webbed because a little tag says so.

BillyT- i may have a spare one or contact Mike Booher- he had several on ebay.
