Here's the scoop. I want a 275/50-15 tire that isn't a drag radial because I don't race my TR, but I wanted something that will offer better traction and higher speed capabilities than the BFGoodrich Radial T/A's.

My search found no such tire offered by any manufacturer. So I contacted BFG and told them this. I also explained that the 15" wheel size is on a lot of the 60's and 70's muscle cars and they are also running the 275 series and want more. They replied.

Apparantly this idea has been on their desk before as I was contacted twice by a BFG rep, and then I was contacted by someone in their product development to explain what I was looking for. They are going to look this over so I wanted to find as much interest as I can to forward to them so they will consider making this happen.

The Poll: Would anyone be interested in a 275/50-15 tire that would be HR or VR rated and would have a longer tread life?

Actually all BFG has to do is make a DR that wears like a Nitto and hooks like a BFG drag radial. That would be nice. :)

10K miles and hooks good would be great.

One of the problems here in PA is our inspection. We need 1/16" of tread depth in order to pass. SO you buy a drag radial and 2 months later your car can't be inspected.

Id be interested in this as said in a previous post somehting like the nitto drag 10k would be great even a 100-200 tread compound would do as well
