Who's got V4s in stock?

yea, I've been tossing the idea around about buying a V4 and a Thunder Fab and a stock dutt neck unit and doing some testing since this hasn't been done before that I know of. However I question what the purpose of it would be when only 2 of the 4 are readily available?

This is my opinion...The Source IC comparison article drew no real conclusions between the various ICs. A stretch stock location from pretty much anyone is capable of going low 11s..even 10s depending on combo so in my book that was fine with me.
I haven't seen any Performance Data on a Mease unit either...only that you can't get em. Your car...your choice....I am very happy with my Thunder unit. The car feels faster with it compared to the stocker for whatever that is worth...I get zero knock running 100 octane with a 110 chip too....so that might be a good sign as well or it could mean nothing.
It installed without removing the fans or the swaybar too. I like it but if you are stuck on a CAS or a Mease unit then keep an eye on EBAY or the Parts for Sale section.

The M#@$# stretch-IC is made from one and a half 1986-87 stock ICs.
The Thunder Fab is constructed of ALL-NEW materials. The C@$ unit is of a similar design to the Thunder Fab.

Where/when was an independent Stock-Mount Intercooler test ever done? Has there been one?

Other than the one IC test in the late "The Source" periodical,
no comparative IC tests have been done & published (and even that one test did not include ALL the available brands).
(Jack's FM IC was Numero Uno (Yay, Jack!), but no IC had a "major" advantage over its nearest rival).

NO ONE has them....anything. I even called Thunder Fab...his cores are on backorder for another 2 wks or something!! Oh well, always next year. Eveyone will stock up over the winter. I'm gonna stock pile them all winter long and deplete the stock then sell em in the spring
