I need a good reliable machine shop with torque plates to do my 4.1 project. I used rhere and morrison before but their prices are to say the least painful and I haven't used them since the 80's. I live in between waco and dfw so a drive isn't an issue unless it's to the southwest coast near mexico. Thanks.

Mike Smith machine shop in Ft Worth does a good job - they did my stage II engine. Others have used Arlington machine.

I had my own torque plate, but I believe they have access to 1/some if needed.

See Richard or Mark Foster - 817-626-6800. Tell him John Nguyen (with GN of course) referred you.

tommy phillips at pm machine shop. has been building buick engines for a long time and has torque plates.
he is located in burleson. sorry, dont have a number for him.
