Why is my boss's LHS messed up

Besides the fact its a Typical Mopar, why is the Fan constantly running on this 2000 LHS. It just started happening today, and I have to fix it. Is it the Thermostat? are these common problems?

You need a scanner. Is the AC on? If so, thats why.

Otherwise, scan data stream and find out whats turning it on.

If you dont have an OBDII scanner w/Chrysler specific software, might I suggest you dont touch it. If you cant access the factory PID's in the data stream, you wont know WHY the fan is on. Generic mode wont tell you. (Plus, Chryslers ATM tests are wonderful to use for diag's)

Ok I have none of that...The fan runs untill the batery dies. Me thinks I'll be taking it to the local shop tomorow.

Ha ha, Thats the best pic of an Intrepid I have ever seen.

Turns out it was just the Hi/low speed fan relay, I guess they tend to stick open on high or whatever, $11.00 of my boss's money and a few hours on the charger and its back to normal.
