thats how the polizei do it. (german police) when i was stationed there for two years, i seen alot lol. there was never fear, but alot of respect for them.
they carried this 3 sectional steel collapsible baton, with the top section being a thick spring with a metal ball at the end. and would whoop you senseless if you fuked up. needless to say, rarely did anyone fukup..... They were really good guys though.
