Came across a forged wide journal crank on ebay yesterday. Curious to know if there is any way to install the wide journal crank in a regular production 3.8 or 4.1 w/o major machining. Any board member attempt to use a wide journal crank i a non Stage block?

Wide journal doesn't need any machinework to work in a stock block.it has to do will the big side of the connecting rod. You just need wide j rods.that's it.I'm build a motor with a BA crank which is wide j.you don't have to chanfer the bearings to work.it's a good set up.
