No, no way. The heat will kill it and the back pressure will affect the sensor reading. Best place for a WB sensor is down under the car right before the cat-con (or where the cat-con should be). If there is a cutout there will need to move the WB up toward the engine some.

The stock O2 location is a good place for an EGT probe...

I run my aem uego sensor in the primary location and have no problems whatsoever ...every body talks about the backpressure messing with the reading etc but I have ran them both ways on this car and actually have much better response and reaction from it in the primary spot...I'll buy replacement sensors when needed but have put miles upon miles of cruising with straight leaded fuel with excellent results
