Will a 87 3.8 oil pan fit a RWD GN engine/block

I am looking at using FWD pan fit my 87 20 bolt turbo engine. I am swapping it into a custom application and it would be so much easier if it were front sump. Looking on summit the pan gasket is the same for the 87 olds tornado (also 20 bolt), and the FWD oil pan/pickup is a full length sump. I am looking to make a mid/front sump pan, and it appears if I can use the FWD pan I am 1/2 way there.. anyone know for sure?

For anyone searching in the future, no it will not, the pan rail pattern is different.
