True story, unfortunately.

My post:
Sure you will & sure 556 horses is plenty for you.
Here's my story, and I am sticking to it:
Springdale Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA, about 8 months back, waiting patiently at a light going home after the shooting range.
A female, maybe late '20's, pulls up in the lane next to me in a Lexus 460, probably the last model change back.
She revved her motor a tad. I swear I heard at least a SC or turbo, pipes, & cam. Like a idiot, I'm thinking who mods a Lexus?
Being the stupid gentleman that I am, I let her leave the light a tad before me.
I got excited, broke the tires loose coming out of the hole, backed off, & went at it again, but gave up browbeaten. She was way too far ahead.
She walked me like a pink poodle in the park. By the time that I could get back into it, she had me covered like a cheap Italian suit.
I just watched her taillights flash 3 times, she drove off into the sunset, and I promised myself that I would not let that happen again.
Bought new tires the next week to replace the bald ones that I had on the car.
So long for the "bone stock theory" & the "let the girlie leave 1st tude"
I am now sporting 574 RWHP & appropriate corresponding RWTQ, and looking for that car every time I go to the range.

Hopefully, this story will bring you to your senses before it is too late, and you have to go through the same embarrassment & humility that I did.

Now, go ahead and get out the "Honest Charlie" speed catalogue, before it is too late.

Good story old man (I'm 60). Ha, ha, ha....

Reminds me when I was working in Miami and had my turbo diesel with the tuner (runs decent enough to smoke the tires if I want). I was at a red light making a left onto the Sawgrass Expressway and the on ramp had two turning lanes that merged to one an 1/8 mile away. Mid 40's lady with her little lap dog in that bad boy turbo Bentley is next to me. She has done this before and nails the light with me. We make the turn as quickly as we can together then she has a little tire squeal, traction control takes over and she is gone. I just smiled and gave her a thumbs up as I passed her a few miles later.
