Window bars

My car has been sitting for a while. I pulled the door panels off and I notice my window bars are all rusted. What's a good way to makem look new again? I was thinking powder coat? Any thoughts ?

Those are your window regulators. Try getting a tub of some sort and soak them in cider vinegar. It will take the rust right off them. Then clean and paint.

That's the factory finish. The engineers at Buick, back in the 80's, didn't have time to make the doors leak oil.

yep. OEM rust!

I'll try the vinegar.thanks. I could just put panel back on but then in the back of my mind I know it's rusty it will bug me lol
