wiper arms not working (minivan)

Hello all,

my 1993 Chevy Lumina APV's wiper arms and windshield spray stopped working last night. The rear one works fine, but the front don't move. I am pretty sure I can still hear the motor when I flick the switch but they don't move. I checked the fuse inside the car and it is fine.

Anyone have any ideas what it could be??

As dumb as it sounds, check the wiper arm nuts, they will loosen and the wiper arms will stay parked.

Unbelievably they started working today!! I have been trying them since they stopped working (Monday) and all of a sudden I try when I get in it this morning and they work!!

Does this point to anything in particular??
