Wipers not parking....

Wipers work fine I think... ran them for a bit, but they do not drop below the hood just kinda stop a the metal trim at the base of the windshield.... Will the list of little problems stop before I have a real problem ?

Is this normal ? If not what is the fix ?

All of my G bodied cars I've owned had the same problem. It may be because the wiper motor is weak or it isn't getting the voltage needed to allow the wipers to be pushed over the metal piece.

There is a fix procedure that works over on GNTTYPE.org I've followed it (many yrs ago) and it works.

wiper arms don't park.

Adjust the nut where the wiper arm mounts to the motor, mine were like this and I played around with it and this works fine. loosen the nut, move the arm a little bit and see where it needs to go, very easy.
