wiring for gauges ?

I picked up the water and oil gauges for Kirbans . They do not come with wires .Do I use the stock wires or will I have to buy wires . Is there a kit to plug into the back ? ANy installation suggestions ? Ithought Kirbans would have informed me about the additonal things I needed

His guages are no different than anyone elses guages. You need to get wire for power & ground & plumbing as needed. A few ways to hook them up but depends on if they are mechanical or electrical? Probably mechanical??

They are the VDO gauges so I think the Arew mechanical .Could you tell me excatly what to buy

In all likelihood they are electrical, mechanical water temp gauges have the probe made onto the gauge itself. You will need 14 or 16 gauge wire (I think VDO advised 14). Hint: use different colors for the different gauges so you remember which lead goes to which gauge when running through the firewall.
