Found these nice vent replacements on Facebook that are supposed to be LED background, it came yesterday and I just installed them but they have two wires behind them one red and one black. I’m unsure how I would wire them up…. See pictures—they fit flawless , just confused on how to get them to work. I also only want them to come on when the door is opened—-anyone have any ideas on how to proceed on how to wire these up? Any help would be appreciated.

I would try them on the battery red to +12 black to ground.
If they work right you could wire them to the courtesy lamp bulb in the footwell for each side.
Red lamps to orange factory wire and black lamp to white factory wire.
Crimp splices should work ok for this they shouldn't draw much power.
