Archie Bogosian from GN1perf is a good mechanic here in LA and just about 15mins from you down the 60 off rosemead exit he did some work on my GN and i am very pleased with it, and if you are looking for upgrades he has parts stocked piled to the ceiling, LOL I would post his website but I think we are not allowed because he is not a supporting vendor.

.I have not had work done by either of the other two persons suggested above, however I know Lou is well-respected around here. I have had work done by Hye-Tech and I highly recommend them. Give Sod at Hye-Tech a call, his number is 626-855-1154. His shop is in La Puente on Valley Blvd, just east of Puente St. He happens to live in the same city as you.

Archie,Sod or myself, We are all capable but each have our own way of doing things. I prefer to work with the intended platform & take a conservative approach, I'm able to achieve a customers goals without creating smog or reliability issues. no vitamins sold here. 42 years as a mechanic 20 of them on Buicks. I'm a previous NHRA record holder & have built many magazine cars. ASC certified & keep up to date. Many happy customers. I have high morals,standards & no issues Damn I'm good lol

huh? yes, I think that any and / or all of the guys mentioned qualify for that statement. Being males, I suppose that they might prefer the term warlocks though. All are good guys. Lou has worked on my cars for years and is quite capable, has always done good work on my cars, and has always been fair on the bill. You will need some young sheep for a sacrafice though.

You folks are lucky, you actually have specialists choices.
I found references to Lou in Kirban's manual, and after finding there is no one within 100 miles of here (Fresno), I took GN to Lou. A real professional, & I returned when needed some upgrades.
I was at the recent SEMA speaking with the folks at Prof. Turbos on some technacalities, and Lou's name came up...they are familiar with his work and said to do whatever he says.
Being distant I have to be careful & try get the best...I'm very comfortable with Lou.

Thanks ! I owe you all a beer at Ralph's Buick off. I'm looking forward to attending showing my GN off & seeing everyone again. My goal is to steal first place away from Wells. He's been a little uppity lately & needs to get spanked. On that note I got a reminder from Steve Hurst that his annual Bates nut farm car show is coming up in June. That should also be good & I plan on attending that also. Regards Lou

Truth is I like the both of them,I look forward to working with them cause no one knows it all. Although I come very close. One thing that cannot be equaled is my good looks charm & high level of intellect.( boy is this getting deep even for me ) lol

I would lean towards Lou's shop for awesome work and the peace of mind knowing there's a good looking guy working on your $h!t :biggrin: .

No problem! Anytime Lou I was going crazy in Indiana. I needed to be home with some good friends.
Lou had I had a great time interviewing the new and up coming bar maids. LOL!!!!!!!!! Lou told them he was the owner and they sat down and spilled there guts to him. I do my best work after a few drinks. As I stumbled out of the rest room. There was this cute gal filling out a job application. I introduced myself as the bar owner & proceeded with an interview. As I was reviewing the application. I indicated that her stated age of 22 seemed false & could I see some ID. She went out to her car & produced her drivers licence. I then introduced Brent as my business partner. I offered to buy her a drink & she ordered water to present a good impression this went on for a time till the bar maid blew my cover & revealed the deceit. I was really on a roll. lolNo problem! Anytime Lou I was going crazy in Indiana. I needed to be home with some good friends.
