Won one for the Turbo Regal guys

No, not a race, a car show. Usually I am bitching about not being let into shows because our cars are too "new". Well this show in CT that is mainly a street rod show has no cutoff date so I always go. Usually just hang for a few hours and take off. Head back to the car to pack up and have a notice on the steering wheel that I won a top 30 trophy.

Was really surprised as usually just high dollar street rods win there. Good seeing Brett from the board there as well as another customer who had his T there.

Congrats. Always nice to win. Doesn't happen too often at the shows around here. Judges all drool over Stangs and Camaros.

you can say that again last year i went to about 5 car shows,just to look
at other car not realLy looking to win but notice that the same car are all ways winning, for the most part those cars that win to me are not show
quality cars where they show some sign of rust,bad paint job or just
dirty.i went to my local 130 plumbers car show where i didnt win because
my car wasnt a ford or chevy which pissed me off, because my car was the most cleanest original car their with 34,000 miles any ways the hell with them

I won last year to my amazement, because my car needed door panels, and all kind of stuff. I won most original!!!!

Was at the Berlin Fairgrounds on 4/27. Usually they get around 1000 cars but because of the iffy weather yesterday there were only around 300 or so cars.

Plaque

I got a plaque last year at the local Tuesday night cruise. However, I think bringing my 2 & 4 year old daughters bought me some sympathy vote

People do love the GN's and I think they are gaining in popularity as those dudes who grew up in the 80's get older.

Congrats none the less, I know it feels good
