Just recently I had some charging system problems and blamed that for my trans acting up. But the last few days I've had trans problems off and on.
The trans sometimes won't downshift when I come to a stop light causing the car to stall or almost stall.
When that happens, if I put it in first manually and then to Overdrive it upshifts way to early and really hard.
Also when these problems are happening, if I hit the brake while driving @ 60mph the convertor doesn't unlock like it should.
What could all of this be from? It doesn't happen all the time, sometimes it runs like a champ with a little slip in the 1-2 shift. Thats what is driving me nuts is the fact that its not always happening. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I've been thinking maybe a Vac. Line or the Torque convertor. Thanks
