This is my first post as a new member so please be gentle guys! My problem is: My 700R4 transmission shifts from 1st. to 2nd. at 5500 rpms @ WOT (exactly where I want it ), but it shifts from 2nd. to 3rd. at 4600 rpms @ WOT. I stretched the 2-3 shift valve spring just a tad and it brought up the 2-3 shift up to 4900, but it also brought up the 1-2 shift up to 5600 (not good)! Do you think I could have an internal pressure leak somewhere? Please help me if you can, I don't have much hair left to pull out..........."John"
