Howdy,

I need a standard bore block (can deal with miles as it's a race motor). Prefer 14-bolt pan but I can make a 20-bolt work if nothing else comes up. Willing to pay to have it shipped if we can get it checked out by a shop on it cleaning up with an acceptable piston to wall. I already have enough 0.030 over blocks in my hands and in all the local yards I've called.

Thanks,

I have 3 standard bore 1985 140 code blocks 20 bolt pan. I'm in CT and can ship.

I'll keep that in mind but I'm really after a 14 bolt pan after some timing cover work I've done that just won't cross over to a 20 bolt pan without major rework.

I know I'm dreaming but a 3.800in bore off center stage block under ~$1000 before shipping is also an option but I'm doubting that price point is something that will come through.

where are you located ? I was just told about 2 standard 109 blocks in hershey pa

Ok, looks like the 14-bolt pan blocks just aren't around in STD bore anymore...

I'm willing to make modifications to my timing cover to get a block to work but to be worth it, I need a 109 type with the slightly shorter deck height to make it work properly.

Thanks,
