any one else have one of these? i got the supra for xmas and im addicted. ive added new wheels, foam tires, a stage 2 30k rpm drift motor, and ive made the stock non posi rear in to a posi by packing some bearing grease in to the pumpkin.
stock there not to much fun, rather slow, now that ive got a beefier motor and all that power its hard as heck to control on "slick" surfices like hardwood floors. when ever i hit the throttle it does a mini burnout, its real spinhappy like it is now, i need the AWD mod and some sticker tires. i put the top speed stage 2 motor in earlier in the day and i could not run fast enough to catch the dang thing, the guy at radio shack clames to have one that will do 30 mph but im sure hes not useing radio shack parts.
there amaizing little toys, they have all the fun of building a real car along with some of the problems but for a fraction of the cost. the only real down side is that there alittle to low for my likes, i hit a pebble today flying down the street and the thing started doing cart wheels.
