Does XFI look at the stock o2 sensor at all? I want to know if I can do away with it

No it doesnt,do away with it.
Remove it an buy an o2 plug

I am not sure as to what you mean by that question. you you are thiniking that by taking out the little bung that sticks into the exhaust before the turbo will create create a more open, unobstructed path for the exhaust gas to flow, you are correct, BUT the difference will be sooo minute, that it will make no difference.
