I have read several posts that xylene is safe as gas for your car.

The question I have, seeing that the GN is in the garage and the snowmobile is about ready to hit the trails, can you run xylene in your snowmobile? Talking to some of the snow experts, there is now additive for a 2 stroke snowmobile to helpl keep the carbs clean.

However, if xylene is basically a high octane gas, then it may be ok. The snow mobile I bought has been sitting for 2 years, so it could use a good fuel system cleaning. Thought I would save some time pulling the carbs apart.

Any thoughts?

I don't see why not , except not sure if there is any issues with it mixing with the 2 stroke oil?

I 'm not sure it would clean out those green deposits left in the jets though.

Maybe try a little bit at a time and keep checking the plugs and piston colour.
