A person on another forum was inquiring about thier tranny fluid being yellow in color. Could this be due to old fluid or being contaminated? Also I seem to remember someone in the past recomending a certian type of hydralic oil instead of the normal atf. Im thinking that maybe someone swapped out the normal atf and put somethin else in there. Has anyone heard of an alternate choice of fluid other than the typical atf? If so whats it called and what color is it? The vehicle in question is a Jeep Cherokee with an AW4 trans. Thanks for the help.
