Yet another Grainger valve question, please clear this up for me

Aparently there are two types of Grainger valve. There's one that is brass, and then there is one that is black and looks like a regulator from an air comp. I have the regulator type, can some tell me how to hook it up? If you have one how do you like it? Thanks Steve
 
Unplug the hose to the wastgate solinoid . Hook up 1/4" hose barb to the plastic valve , slide hose over barb. there is an arrow on the valve to show the way of the flow.The flow should be away from the hose .
I have uses these for years on dozens of cars,will work good .
