Yo Razor!..the kit is Awesome! LT1 F-body at 21 psi!

Up to 21 psi and 19 degs so far!
Pulling the heads this week, to get the port job, it so badly needs!
can't wait for spring, to finalize the tune on this 11 to 1 motor
and see what it'll do at the track! (NMCA Bradenton in April!)
Can you give me a target for what you've seen..AFR and Timing vs Boost?
I know I'm in the ballpark.

Go rich.. as rich as it will still make power. Some cars are tuned at 10.0 others at 11.0. Somewhere in between those should get you in the ballpark. Watch you MPH/HP.. tune for max mph/hp.. you'll be fine. Boost will drop when you port the heads.. thats a good thing.

Absolutely!..It's beyond street tuning..it simply blows the tires off
at any speed...
All Hot Rodders/Racers should have this problem!..LOL

There's no way that car can be fast. It's got a 4L80E transmission in it...way too heavy for any performance application. Maybe you could put a hitch on the back of it and use it as a tow vehicle.

Glad the new pulley helped your boost situation.

You can slowly increase the timing & pick up a lot of power. I'm guessing you are currently leaving close to 100 hp on the table with 19 deg. Most LT1's will make peak power around 26 deg timing at 10-11:1 A/F range.

As far as the 4L80E..... There is nothing wrong with a 9 second tow vehicle, or a race car that you can enjoy driving 60mi to the racetrack with a 5000 stall converter. Lock-up & overdrive... who said a dog was mans best friend?

Local here with a twin turbo'd LS1 ran more boost and less timing and the power was sky rocketing. Car made more power with more psi/less timing then in reverse.

Ported head, 11:1 comp with 21psi sounds like a massive pavement pounder.

This ride screams for a standalone with wideband locked a/f ratio.

a little longer...see what I get back on my taxes before I can
decide on the Glide/Gear Vender..I'll know in February..
this car is dyin' for a 'trans-brake' though..

gotta figure out what to do with that credit..

How high are you revving it now? The pulley is about as small as you can go, so short of a custom one, it will only make more boost if you rev it higher.

If you sell the trans, I could use a spare t-comm.
