Any El Camino hybrids out there?

I think I just replied to an email, if that was you John.
for a while I used a gn sending unit in a non fuel injected elky tank. I had to minipulate the piping on the sending unit, and removed the actual float....and HAD to keep at least a half a tank of gas. I finally (about a year ago) got a hold of an 87 fuel injected elky tank, and sending unit.

The problem with the aftermarket tanks, is that they are all built by the same manf. The "fuel injected" tank and the "carb'd" tank, both are the same part number. I ordered one, got it in and it was the same crap I already had! Sent it back, and had them look at the two different tanks, they were both identical. No baffling...

hope that email helps...

There is also a white one floating around the area. The fender decal says "T-Type". I got some pics somewhere.

I haven't seen that one. Post the pics if you find them.

Here are some pictures of Jays from today. He took me for a joy ride and man does that thing sound mean. It also has plenty of get up and go.
Sorry for the link. I cant upload these pictures here cause they are too big. I already resized them but they get too small. Enjoy!!!

Pics Of The Grand Camino

Finally I have some pics of the Grand Camino to post. The problem has been my lack of knowledge on how to get pics on the forum. Thank you John (Red Regal T). Since these pics were taken the car got a major do over to include a stage II engine, big stuff 3, front mount inner cooler, 70 mm TB and 70 GTQ turbo. This is the car that GARRETT8487 mentioned in this post.

I was on jaysgn website
He has one there also but that black one is very nice

I hope you are still following this thread. I bought a FI tank and sender. The sender has a metric fitting (16 mm across the flats, unknown pitch) on the delivery port that feeds the injectors. I'm looking to connect that port to braided stainless line and use the original line as a return. I took the sender to a local speed shop to try and find the correct AN fittings where they suggested cutting the tube, removing the factory metric fitting, and using a compression fitting. First off, I worry about a compression fitting under constant pressure. Secondly, the sender was expensive and is now discontinued and I'd rather not hack it up. What did you use to add the third line? Please help.

I used fuel injector rubber hose (much more expensive than regular fuel hose) and connected to the sender with 2 clamps on each end. Never leaked a drop. You may even be able to push the fitting back and slip the hose over the flare. That would be even better.
