    shift kit and wide band are only a band-aid and not even that if the rest isn't right. it sounds like him changing your VB wasn't the answer either, I hope you didn't let them keep the old one. mix matching vb's and govenor's is gonna get you in trouble unless they knew what they wee doing...

    Opinions: How long do you think it will hold up?

    too hard to say... it would be a guess.... I had one very well built and it snapped the fwd drum shaft first pass. a good build w/o breakage still kinda hard to guess, but 50k would be a reasonable one. or do like salvageV6 did and have a little more assurance.

    could be any... see if there are any #'s stamped on it..... even with those it might be a guess depending on if it is stock or has been rebuilt?

    faster with or with out.... I doubt.... last longer w/o maybe... unless you get a Hi-Po LU one.

    not other than leaks and potential oil getting on tires.

    WOT stock GN 200R4 shift points

    don't know the mph it shifts at but the stock rpm should be around 5250. The mph will very depending on trans health, tire size, weight and stuff. If it's a stock t/c I wouldn't recommend using l/u for raceing IMHO.
