When I get there

I will have to do it when I get there as it has been up and down if the hybrid was going to make it. Del so, I would pay for that on fri or sat?

Chris

I would prefer to have people sign up for the event as soon as they can. You can do it either Friday or Saturday, but please don't wait until the last minute on Saturday.

One of the concerns last year was my wife having to try and chase down everyone that was there but was not registered. We're not going to do that again this year. All the registration activities at the track will happen at my motorhome. It's a 32' Pace Arrow Class A. It's a beige and charcoal grey color with stripes on it. You can't miss it because it will have a descent looking burgundy 87 Turbo T with Weld Rod Lite wheels parked next to it :)

For all cars: We will be looking to get your Woodburn car number before 1st round on Saturday. I just want it for my records so I can be accurate when I type up an event recap.

Save your timeslips! If you are gunning for a top speed or quickest ET plaque, you'll need a timeslip as proof. If you think you're in line for a plaque please find me and let me know...I would hate to overlook someone just because I did not see their run myself or hear about it some other way.

As much as I look forward to this event each year, I get pretty stressed out about this time. My mind races thinking about all the things that could go wrong. We'll make a best effort to see that we're prepared but please remember we're not professionals, and we're 100% volunteer. Our goal is for everyone to have a good time. My favorite part of the event is of course meeting all the cool "Buick people" each year, and yes I also have a soft spot for the fastest of the fast cars.

Don't hesitate to call me if you have any questions

Thanks!!

DEL,

If this year is anything like the past years events it will be a HUGE success. I wish I could make it but I have to pick my kids up from church camp this Saturday morning. Part of being a parent.:)

Guys have fun...

Sam, got your entry tonight. You're on the roster at the #20 spot. Thanks!

CORRECTION. My Turbo-T will be sporting the street rubber. Weld 5-spole billet wheels 15X7 & 15X8.
Note to self: Next time, test fit the race wheels at least 2 weeks in ADVANCE of the event

Funny Dan, I was thinking of you when I realized I'd be on street radials this weekend :)

I'll be tuning for MPH on my car. We should definitely line up on Friday night for the fun of it...lets make it as late as possible.
