:frown: The guy has it in storage and doesn't want to dig it out until spring. He just got back to me a couple days ago,he said he been having a crappy few months so I don't want to tick him off.I had asked for some close up pics. What does it cost to have a 200r4 guy open it up to inspect it?
Thanks!Theres a post just below 1Burban,he has a '89 Caprice with a 305/200r4 combos.He told me the 350s came with 700s and 305s were with 200r4s.Now I'm hoping for a 305.....................
Thanks!Any way to tell if it's 200 or 700 from up top,if it's not a '90?It was dang cold in Mo when I was there last,I hate to have to jack up the car and crawl underneath.
I have heard that the 86-7s had several important upgrades vs the '84-5s so they are recommended as better starting point.

One of my cousins has a Chevy Caprice that was a Mo State Trooper car.The emission sticker says 1990 and for use in Canada. How do I identify the year of the car from the vin?Did these cars use 200r4s or 700r4s?Would this be a good tranny to use? Thanks in advance!
Eric
