correction to my above post. the pre-seriesI 3800's LN3's will use the series I M-62 blower setup but may not be able to use the old LG3 and RWD 3.8 rods. that was a confusing period when they were phasing out the 3.8 for the 3800

his engine is not our series II. they are very different. his is lik our old 3800's that were in the 89 lesabre's and bonnevilles. these heads were used on the 89 turbo TA so the RWD3.8 and FWD 3800's shared alot of common parts. the Aussie 3800 has the 2.8 type bell. as for cams i believe you...

i believe that an older M-62 blown 3800 top end might swap onto the 84 block. the old M-62 3800's had the same heads as the 89 turbo TA. might have to do some gasket research but i believe it would work
