correction to my above post. the pre-seriesI 3800's LN3's will use the series I M-62 blower setup but may not be able to use the old LG3 and RWD 3.8 rods. that was a confusing period when they were phasing out the 3.8 for the 3800

    3.8 n/a 3800 s/c

you could also get this eBay Motors: Supercharged 3800 3.8 Pontiac Bonneville engine motor (item 170100960056 end time Apr-18-07 17:07:51 PDT) and use a 2.2L/2.5L/2.8L/3.1/3.4L type bell housing 700R4 from a 2wd S-10

    Mercury's version of the GN??

i saw a marauder run 14.8 stock then the owner put a magnacharger on that 32V 4.6 and went deep into the 12's with it. stock for stock the marauder will pull an Impala SS but the Impala looks sooooo much nicer IMO

    3.8 n/a 3800 s/c

no i don't believe the series I and II will work as they are on-center blocks. the heads might bolt on but the intakes won't have the correct ends to seal to the off center pre-series I 3800 which was off center like the RWD 3.8 the heads IMO are better from the pre series I 3800's and up as...

    Aussie Buick

his engine is not our series II. they are very different. his is lik our old 3800's that were in the 89 lesabre's and bonnevilles. these heads were used on the 89 turbo TA so the RWD3.8 and FWD 3800's shared alot of common parts. the Aussie 3800 has the 2.8 type bell. as for cams i believe you...

    where to get upgrades

    3.8 n/a 3800 s/c

i believe that an older M-62 blown 3800 top end might swap onto the 84 block. the old M-62 3800's had the same heads as the 89 turbo TA. might have to do some gasket research but i believe it would work
