I also have used an alligator clip in place of the E-Clip for a long time! Definitely a lot easier to remove when hot than trying to mess with the E-clip.

I've used H&R online for the last couple of years... it's easy to use, I can file electronically, and I usually get my refund in a short amount of time. Plus, if you're ever audited, they will back you up! Oh... it does support 1099s, too!

Mike, please keep us updated on your car as it progresses. I've been considering the L92/L76 set up for quite some time... The whole turbo thing has been pretty appealing too, but it's way out of my price range right now, when you consider all of the additional upgrades that would have to follow!
