I wouldn't waste your time with them. An alligator clip works just as well and is easy to remove for boost changes.

I also have used an alligator clip in place of the E-Clip for a long time! Definitely a lot easier to remove when hot than trying to mess with the E-clip.

gnpoweredrail just pull one off of your accelerator cable. Take in it with you to compare & re-insatll before you leave.

I use a hairpin clip..... you can get them at most hardware and auto parts stores.... and they are easy to grab with needle nosed pliers if it is hot....

They are also much easier to find as compared to the Jesus clip that came on there......

You can also use regular carburetor linkage clips from any autoparts store.

That's what I use. Goes on easily with a pair of needlenose when hot!

"Jesus clip" . We called them that in the Navy...when you pull 'em off they go flying and make you yell "JESUS!"
