I need to know more about your combination to spec a converter. I need your engine size, turbo size, cam size, which heads are you using and what rpm you plan to shift at. All the 9.5 non locks are $925+ shipping which is around $30.
I wouldn't even think about staying lock-up with a stage 2 engine unless you have a large motor and small turbo. The lock-up cores aren't capable of holding stage 2 power unlocked so it would require a 5 disk lock-up like the Vigilante. I'd run a 9.5 non lock. Plenty of street cars are running them and only run 200-300 rpm higher at cruise.
