Is there anyone left that converts stock ECM drivers for low impedance injectors?

I believe I have one that I'm not using (switched to XFI) and would be willing to sell if you need one.

Will a passenger side GN seat mount up in the driver's side?

I need to move the GN around and want to remove the aftermarket race seat I have in it now. But all I can get my hands on is a passenger side seat. Will it fit? Just need it for a temporary solution.

1987 pro-touring grand national, from the ground up

This type of stuff that you only learn by "experimenting" in real world conditions and is what scares me most about building a turbo regal track car. And I've given real thought to it. This community (and good builders) knows how to build incredibly fast drag cars, what will break under what...

1987 pro-touring grand national, from the ground up

If you are going to be running track days with the car I'm interested in what you've found regarding cooling and oiling. On cooling: Do you plan to run a differential cooler? What type of trans cooler are you going to use? High power at sustained RPMs = HEAT!! On oiling: what is known...

E85 cranking/start values for XFI-- she doesn't like the cold...

Been wondering if I have TOO MUCH fuel at low temps, tried using lower values (closer to 20 ms) last weekend without any success-- still took a WHILE. At 120#ers I do have big injectors. May just need to tinker with this more, or it just may the difficulty of dealing with chemical properties...

XFI tip? Stalls when shifting from Park to D or R

Interesting. I switched to a 4L80e and am indeed now running a multi-disc vigilante instead of the single disc I used to run with the 200. Perhaps -that- is the variable that changed as the tune worked well before. Thanks again to all who've taken the time to offer feedback. Other...

XFI tip? Stalls when shifting from Park to D or R

MAP (psia) drops from -7.9 to -9.3 in the first 0.3 sec after shifting and then starts climbing again to -5.6 just before it stalls half a sec later.

XFI cranking fuel values for E85 cold starts?

Many thanks for the specifics-- I'll give this a shot.

XFI cranking fuel values for E85 cold starts?

Thanks & fair enough-- they're 130# injectors and you're correct that I don't have to give it gas to get her started.

XFI tip? Stalls when shifting from Park to D or R

Thanks for the feedback. I'm looking at the log for one stall and actual A/F ratio does not change much (9.00 to 8.88) as the stall begins. 02 correction < 4%. The only parameter I was logging that shows a marked increase or decline was the IAC target. I wasn't logging CTS coolant temp...

XFI cranking fuel values for E85 cold starts?

    Thanks-- my IAC starting position is at 150 between 0 - 75F, 122 @ 109F, 89 @ 146F, and 60 when temps > 180F.

XFI tip? Stalls when shifting from Park to D or R

Hi folks, I'm running XFI and am looking for a quick tip. My current tune stalls when I shift from Park to drive or reverse. I can ride the brake and give her gas to prevent it, but would rather not have to. Doesn't seem to be sensitive to whether the car has just been started or...

XFI cranking fuel values for E85 cold starts?

Hi folks, I'm wondering if anyone running E85 and XFI has a good cold start tune? I know E85 is tough when it's cold, but I'm cranking for minutes before it starts with my current setup. In the cranking fuel table , my injector pulse width values are 40-45 (ms) when coolant temp is...

E85 cranking/start values for XFI-- she doesn't like the cold...

Hi folks, I'm wondering if anyone running E85 and XFI has stumbled onto a reasonably good cold start tune? I know E85 is tough when it's cold, but I'm cranking for minutes before it starts with my current setup. In the cranking fuel table , my injector pulse width values are 40-45 (ms)...
