You can do it on ramps; crossover pipe needs to come off. I had an older seal, so needed to rotate the crank to get the seal to pull out. If you have compressed older motor mounts you may need to jack up to get the pan out.

If you can get a loan with payments that will be smaller then your current rent, then it sounds like a good idea. If you are buying something to rent out and living elsewhere, make sure that you can cover at least 6 months of non-renting/mortgage cash. I had one of my rentals sit for 7 months...

I would love to see a stock GT500 vs a stock Z06 at the track. If the GT500 is really putting out that much rwhp then it will be a really close match up.
