Transmission Line Size - Checking Discharge Pressure

The torque converter company request the discharge pressure from the upper transmission line going to the radiator. Thanks guys for the input. I found a fitting 1/8 npt that I can use hose on either end. I can connect the gauge to that fitting. Thanks for the info. Craig

Transmission Line Size - Checking Discharge Pressure

Are the stock 2004R transmission lines 5/16"? Wanting to install a "T" on the discharge line to verify transmission pressure. This is temporary install - any suggestions to just verify the discharge pressure? I don't want to cut the originals if possible. Thanks, Craig

    Original AC DELCO Freedom Battery

I just put the original battery stickers on the backing for the old school reproduction one. If it goes bad I'll just switch the stickers back to the original battery stickers. Should work.

Need New Front Rotors - What is best?

Several years ago I replaced the brake lines with Teflon lined stainless braided lines from Classic Tube. I'd replace the original brake lines at this point with something new for safety. Craig

Need New Front Rotors - What is best?

My follow up. I installed a set of EBC RK7000 gen2 rotors, Hawk HPS pads, and rebuilt original calipers. Rotors look to be real nice quality and car stops great. I'm real happy with the England made EBC rotors. They cost about $180 for the pair but I think it's worth it for the quality and...

Best Non Lock-up Torque Convertor Brands

I am currently running a 10 inch non lock-up PTC that I purchased through Dusty about 10 years ago. I guess the best plan is to send it back to PTC to be cut apart checked and cleaned before I install it with my new transmission. The PTC converter is still in the car with old transmission. I...

Car Pulls Left after Bleeding Brakes?

I replaced the original rubber lines in 2013 with Classic Tube - braided stainless Teflon lined hoses. I sure wouldn't think those are bad. I do some more driving and post the results. Thanks, Craig

Car Pulls Left after Bleeding Brakes?

Thanks for the advice guys. I finally got the time to work on the car today. My driver side drum was tighter than the passenger side. I adjusted the passenger side about 8 more clicks. They them seemed to take about the same effort to remove the drums off the shoes. I drove the car around...
