    Governor Springs ?

Nope. To raise the TV limit pressure are you putting washers with the spring to increase pressure? How are you doing it? Thanks, Craig

    Governor Springs ?

Kevin, I would start out by measuring the force of the original light weight spring and the Steve V. blue spring. I did this using a 0 to 200 gram scale i bought on Amazon. I set up some parallels on either side of the scale, placed spring on the center of the scale, placed a steel ruler over...

    Governor Springs ?

What are you trying to accomplish with the lighter tension springs? Higher shift points?

    Governor Springs ?

As stated above Steve V. I just bought some blue springs from him recently. The blue springs are about 9 to 10% weaker than a yellow governor spring per my testing. Craig

    rear differential fluid change

I used the Felpro gasket on mine. I don't remember the part number was but bought it off Rockauto for the 8.5 rear. I only use dinosaur rear lube - not synthetic. I used 3 bottles of Lucas 80w-90. I also put in the GM posi additive since I still have the original posi unit in the rearend...

    Power antenna problem

I think the GM Buick manual has a drawing in it that shows the wiring if I remember right. If you want to find your answer about where the power comes from. My guess is the contacts inside the power antenna are dirty. I clean them by running a business card through them a few time to remove...

    Power antenna problem

Why not check the power antenna connector for power under the hood with a meter. I had another power antenna to swap in my car to test it. I believe the contacts / switch inside the power antenna could be dirty. I plan on opening the case and cleaning them. My antenna would work occasionally...

    HVAC control panel rebuild kit?

I have took mine apart and cleaned the rubber diaphram. I then put a thin coat of Molykote light on the rubber diaphram and put it back together. Mine works fine now. Mine was leaking and I could hear a hiss. You can find new 9 port valves but the are around $80 - saw on Highway Stars. Be...

Transmission Line Size - Checking Discharge Pressure

The torque converter company request the discharge pressure from the upper transmission line going to the radiator. Thanks guys for the input. I found a fitting 1/8 npt that I can use hose on either end. I can connect the gauge to that fitting. Thanks for the info. Craig

Transmission Line Size - Checking Discharge Pressure

Are the stock 2004R transmission lines 5/16"? Wanting to install a "T" on the discharge line to verify transmission pressure. This is temporary install - any suggestions to just verify the discharge pressure? I don't want to cut the originals if possible. Thanks, Craig

    Original AC DELCO Freedom Battery

I just put the original battery stickers on the backing for the old school reproduction one. If it goes bad I'll just switch the stickers back to the original battery stickers. Should work.

Need New Front Rotors - What is best?

Several years ago I replaced the brake lines with Teflon lined stainless braided lines from Classic Tube. I'd replace the original brake lines at this point with something new for safety. Craig

Need New Front Rotors - What is best?

My follow up. I installed a set of EBC RK7000 gen2 rotors, Hawk HPS pads, and rebuilt original calipers. Rotors look to be real nice quality and car stops great. I'm real happy with the England made EBC rotors. They cost about $180 for the pair but I think it's worth it for the quality and...
