    Where does this bracket go?

I'm putting my engine back together , (it's been apart for two months) and just installed the bracket that goes from the alternator in two places, to a header bolt. My problem is that I have this smaller "L" shaped bracket that is made of the same steel rod material as the alternator bracket...

While I have the intake and heads off of my GN, I'm going to remove the EGR chamber that is in the plenam and intake, and refinish the insides. Turbo gone bad

Thanks for the info, Bison and Kevins, when I get the turbo off I'll make sure I know what went wrong. I suspect a seal or something gave out, allowing oil to pass thru. (I've never taken one apart) kmtwig

    Turbo gone bad

Hello Turbo Freaks, I have a 1987 GN with a TA52, front mount, 50# injectors, TT chip, and alcohol injection. The engine internals are stock. I love this car, and it goes like a bat out of hell!! my question is, since the turbo is toast, and I can't afford to replace or have it repaired right...
