    camshaft interchange

Can I use a camshaft from a 1986/1987 GN in my 1979 231cid turbo engine? I have read about Buick changing the base diameter of the camshaft in 1984 and I wonder if this will affect the interchangeibility of the cams. What camshaft will you advise me to use in my 1979 Regal Sport Coupe? It is...

    Connector for oil feed line???

 Does anybody have an idea where I can get a new connector for the oil feed line on a 1979 Turbo Regal. I have lost mine after converting to hose and now I'm building it back to stock oil feed line. Poston Enterprises sells the line, but doesn't have the connector for the turbo.:(...

 I have just found a set of great looking wheels for my car. They are cast aluminium turbine wheels, but I miss the wheelnuts. I think the wheels are universal boltcircle, because there is a couple of offset nuts following the wheels, but I will need new nuts. Cast in the back of...

    twinturbo v8 austin mini

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think the distributor for the Rover 215 still is the same as Buick, and then I think it should be possible to adapt the little black timing retard box from the Turbo Regal, if you put a knock sensor on the engine. If it will work on a V-8? I don't know, maybe...

Can anyone get Poston to send me a catalog?

I can't find their fax number or E-mail adress, and I need their catalog. I have temporarily swapped the Turbo-6 for a BUICK 350 cid, to get the time to overhaul and modify the V-6. I just got the Powersource manual so I have a lot of work to do! I need parts for the engine...

    so p----------- off

I haven't read the whole thread, but a friend of mine had a similar problem with his boat. The engine was a 455 Olds, and he wasn't able to get it running right. The engine was going strong up to 3800 rpm then it just died and wouldn't pull until it had been cruising at 2000 rpm for a little...

82 coupe smokes blown head gasket?

Have you tried Turbocity? They gave me a great service and they seem to have most turbos in stock. They are located in California ( I think...?) but I had my turbo in Norway 3 days after I ordered it. I think the price for the turbo on my 79 Regal was $452,-. They also sell cartridges if your...

Thanks a lot! You have just saved my week! I haven't had this car for so long. I bought it 1 1/2 months ago, but on my way home the Turbo bearings was ruined ( the oil line was full of burned oil), so I had to import a new one from US. Turbocity gave me a GREAT service, and I ended up with a...
