Yes, they should. My car has been running mid-bottom 11's for 4-5 years now on the stock 8.5 pulling 1.54 or so 60's, and that scares me. The times aren't what's going to break the axle, it's the launch. If you put a stock 8.5 and slicks on, see what your 60's are, then decide from there...

Yes, this is a full weight car. 3,640lbs is what the scale says. 60' on that run was 1.68 with the ET Radials. It has 60'd in the 1.54's with slicks, which I wished I was running that day.

I just went 11.25@121 with my 52. Could have went quicker had I been running slicks. I was trying to learn to launch with the ET Drag Radials. This is with a stock block unported heads, but at about 28-29PSI.

Kevin, First off, thanks for the tips! I made a few passes today trying to raise boost a little. I was able to get 29PSI out of it today trying to launch with the ET Radials. I kind of kick myself for not bolting on the slicks before we left....... it's 60'd in the 1.54 range with slicks...

No dyno though :( It's not looking good for me this year.

myclone, I was wondering about the e.t. claim myself. I was really wondering when he was talking about the turbo being so quiet he was telling people it didn't have one... I'm no Sy/Ty expert though, so I just kept my mouth shut there. By the way, I'm 502SS on that board.

You can try a repair or an overlay installation as mentioned above. You will not have to reinstall your programs from doing a repair or an overlay install though. Something I would do first, is go to http://www.memtest86.com/ and download the software to create a bootable floppy, or the CD...
