02s jacked

My o2 was giving me a code on my scanmaster and the numers were all over from 100-900 so i replaced it with a new denso last week and the numbers were still jumping around but the 02 code cleared. Now few days later im getting a code again. Is this common to take a couple of new sensors to get a good one?

The numbers are supposed to jump all over the place when in normal closed loop (cruising, and on most chips, idle). What code are you getting? Rich? Lean?
